Welcome to the Bontagu 'Our Bigger Story' website. This is part of the multi media evaluation of 15 Big Local areas in England. The website is an opportunity to follow what is changing in Bontagu as a result of Big Local over a ten year period.
The aim of the website is to share the learning from everything that is happening in Bontagu with other Big Local areas and highlight what works in communities with a wider audience of practitioners and policy makers.
In this presentation from the Big Local Spring Event in London (April 2016) Bountagu Big Local partnership describes its approach to environmental improvements. These include tackling fly-tipping, improving green spaces and the development of allotment and garden projects.

This three year plan describes the focus for Bountagu Big Local from April 2016 to March 2019. This plan follows on from the first plan that covered the period from October 2013 to March 2016.
The Community Fair was organised to raise the profile of the Big Local and the work it is supporting. In this film those involved in Bountagu reflect on the challenges facing the community, Big Local plans to address these and reflect on the changes Big Local has made for the community and individuals.
