Welcome to the Revoe Blackpool 'Our Bigger Story' website. This is part of the multi media evaluation of 15 Big Local areas in England. The website is an opportunity to follow what is changing in Revoe Blackpool as a result of Big Local over a ten year period.
The aim of the website is to share the learning from everything that is happening in Revoe Blackpool with other Big Local areas and highlight what works in communities with a wider audience of practitioners and policy makers.
One of ten winners at the 2018 Big Local Dragons' Den event, local resident Christopher Lewis-Smith used the funds to build a giant fish from plastic collected from the river running through Radstock. The final touches were applied to it at The Somer Valley Arts Festival in Radstock and it was displayed in all it's glory to raise awareness of the waste that clogs up our waterways when people litter.
