Welcome to the Hanwell 'Our Bigger Story' website. This is part of the multi media evaluation of 15 Big Local areas in England. The website is an opportunity to follow what is changing in Hanwell as a result of Big Local over a ten year period.
The aim of the website is to share the learning from everything that is happening in Hanwell with other Big Local areas and highlight what works in communities with a wider audience of practitioners and policy makers.

Hanwell Big Local Published their Issue 2 Newsletter in Summer 2016! Every Hanwell Big Local Resident received this newsletter through their doors.
As part of Hanwell Big Locals Communication Project, they published their first issue of the Hanwell Big Local Newsletter in December 2015. This gave Hanwell Big Local opportunity to outreach all the opportunities they have available to HBL residents.
HBL is excited to be supporting the development of a new bid to run Hanwell Community Centre (HCC). HCC is a community asset that sits in the heart of our Big Local area and is used by many residents and those from farther afield.
The Hanwell Big Local plan outlines the community's key priorities for action around four themes: improving the environment, employability and enterprise, environmental improvements and transport/accessibility.
The Hanwell Community Profile describes the population living in the area and the needs identified with local residents. It explores the strengths of the area, major changes and the key challenges facing the communities of Hanwell.
