Welcome to the Hanwell 'Our Bigger Story' website. This is part of the multi media evaluation of 15 Big Local areas in England. The website is an opportunity to follow what is changing in Hanwell as a result of Big Local over a ten year period.
The aim of the website is to share the learning from everything that is happening in Hanwell with other Big Local areas and highlight what works in communities with a wider audience of practitioners and policy makers.
Like most other Vintage events this Year, the wonderful Ramsey 1940's Weekend has sadly had to be cancelled, but it's not all doom and gloom because on Sunday the 23rd of August we are having a fabulous live-stream event right here on this like page. Yes that's right, with the kind support of the wonderful hard working team at Ramsey I am putting together an online event with a plethora of top vintage style entertainers who have become firm favourites of this show. What's more it's going to be an entirely FREE Days entertainment each of the performers will be giving up their time and entertain for free, but you can if you wish show your support for these artists who sadly don't have the work coming in as much due to the current situation by offering kind donations to them when they are performing via their individual safe PayPal links which will be posted as they go live. So the show can't go in this Year at the venue but it still will go on via live-stream, so you can still get your fix of this marvellous show and all from the safety and comfort of our homes to yours.
