Welcome to the Hanwell 'Our Bigger Story' website. This is part of the multi media evaluation of 15 Big Local areas in England. The website is an opportunity to follow what is changing in Hanwell as a result of Big Local over a ten year period.
The aim of the website is to share the learning from everything that is happening in Hanwell with other Big Local areas and highlight what works in communities with a wider audience of practitioners and policy makers.
Recognition for meals and support We don't do anything for the thanks or acclaim- but it is nice to be recognised. Our collaboration with Whitley Bay Round Table , with the support of Evan's Bistro and their amazing chef Jenny Barrett , inspired by the work of Cedarwood Trust in the #BigBatchCook project has earned us the recognition of Councillor Burdis and Her Majesty's Lord Lieutenant, Sue Whinfield. What matters more to us, are the thanks and signs of the benefits that our meals and daily deliveries are having on those who are receiving them. Our team of volunteers are dedicated to making a difference. Thank you to all involved!
